Just got our special order in May. So if it ain't broke, we won't fix it. We got just the one we wanted.

RE: Any other unhappy Carefree Electric awning owners

We have a new 2009 Flagstaff that we custom ordered and my husband refused to have an electric awning. He had a manual one mounted at our dealer. He also refused the electric jack. We love our new TT especially the atrium windows that go from floor to ceiling. What views we have.

RE: what TT's have the biggest windows?

We ordered our 2009 Flagstaff with Atrium windows. They are from floor to ceiling and are totally awesome. Wonderful views.

RE: Where can I find picnic tablecloth/bench?

Got a flag one at camping world. Got several themed ones at walmart and joanns fabric store. Make sure you get the longest ones they have and get the holder clips to hold them down from the wind at the dollar tree. Love my table cloths.

RE: Hillsville, Va flea market

We have been going to Hillsville for several years. Nice camp grounds in surrounding areas, but if you want to camp you better hurry and get a reservation. The flea market is awesome. Really huge and goes on down the road for miles. Very crowded and a whole lot of walking and very hilly. Have a wonderful time every year. Hope you go just once and you will probably return year after year.

RE: Suggestions on things to do in Gatlinburg???

Ride the trolly as much as possible. Parking is scarce and very expensive. The children might find more things to do in Pigeon Forge, just a short drive away. A wonderful place to visit and we will be going in October. Have fun and safe traveling.

RE: Camping at Banjo Creek

I have always had only one main concern with Banjo Creek and that is a cap on the maintenance fees. If everyone will pay theirs, they will receive a letter stating that the fee will always remain the same. As far as dealings with a previous employee, my feelings are still the same, but he is gone so I will now chalk him up as a bad investment and like I stated before CHILL AND ENJOY my camping trips at Banjo Creek. Life is way too short to dwell on bad experiences.

Camping at Banjo Creek

I am also at Banjo Creek from 7/18-7/28. We love camping here. The campers we have met are very friendly as is the staff. I love camping in the bottom section. It is really nice. We have no problems paying our maintenance fee and really think it is much needed for improvements. The campground really looks nice and improvements will only enhance our campground. Everyone needs to chill out and enjoy.

RE: Banjo Creek dues

Got our letter about 2 weeks ago. Not upset about the $150.00 cause we believe all members should pay a fee for the sake of running the park. How can Banjo Creek survive without maintenance. Our main concern is a cap on the $150.00 with no increase in future years. Our salesman we purchased from, and all know who I am referring to, gave everyone a different deal and that concerns us. Am reserved for Fri. 7/18-Mon. 7/28. Hope to see some of you there.

RE: Camping lights/Decor!!!!!!

Just love those tacky lights. My son gave us Route 66 awning lights and we would not leave home without them. We also have a flag wind sock and a set of wind chimes. Love to look at all the others also.

RE: Bunk Bed Guard Rail

My husband made ours. He took four long slats the length of the bunk bed and screwed two short slats to them and the short slats stick down beside the mattress on the bed. Worked very well. Made 2 sets and it was very easy. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. They are now mad at Grammie and Poppa for getting a one bedroom TT. Good luck and I hope you understand what I am trying to describe. Don"t know why they don't come with rails.

RE: Shenandoah Crossing

We own a timeshare there, but we always stay in the log cabins. Just had 2 sets of friends who stayed in the RV park and were ok with the place. They said the lots were very unlevel and it was hard to level the Motorhomes. This is just hearsay so I cannot verify it. Personally it is a beautiful resort but like I said we always stay in the log cabins. If you visit, hope you enjoy it.

RE: Banjo Creek

We have reservations for Fri. June 6 - Mon. June 9. Sure hope we will be able to go camping then. Just dying to try out our new TT. We are borrowing a truck from a friend cause I know the city of raleigh will not have ours repaired by then. Hope to see some of you all then.

RE: 2009 Flagstaff 831FKBSS

We just picked ours up on Fri. 5/16. It took 9 weeks for ours to arrive and 3 days for inspection/detailing inside and out by our dealer. We ordered the 2009 Flagstaff 831FLSS model with the atrium windows and we really love it. It is so beautiful and the windows make all the difference. I know we will enjoy it for many years to come. Safe travels to you and happy camping.
